Would you consider representing our school at this summer’s HOBY Leadership camp at Concordia University in Seward from May 31st-June 2nd? HOBY is for sophomores only. The camp in Seward is the Nebraska camp. Students who have attended in the past have returned with positive responses. The group tours many businesses, participates in a community service project (help at a food pantry, serve at a shelter, clean up after a storm), and builds lasting friendships across the state.
It is fun. It is energetic. It looks great on your resume or job applications.
Just complete the highlighted areas of the attached form and return it to me within a couple of weeks and I will send everything off for you. Let me know if you cannot attend. It is recommended that I register our school’s student selection by December 7th.
Cost of the camp ($225-$425) will be paid by our school. Therefore, I recommend that you carefully check your summer calendar. This should be a firm commitment (not a yes means no or yes means maybe).Transportation is not provided.
